The 2015 Women’s Running 10K Race Series is now finished. Please click here to see information on the 2016 race series.

The race will take place at Blaise Castle, Bristol, City of Bristol BS10 7QT on June 28th at 10am.

The only trail run in the series, allowing runners to go both on and off road, the Blaise Castle 10K is one of the most exciting 10K races. The stunning 18th-century mansion house, surrounded by 650 acres of beautiful parkland is an idyllic spot to run in a mass-participated event alongside hundreds of fellow female runners.

A two-lap course across a varying terrain, the route remains exciting and is in some parts challenging. Including a hilly section at the centre, the course will test out your abilities and stamina!

‘The nerves soon disappeared as I dashed up the first hill’, Rebecca Davies a 2014 runner commented, ‘I loved the atmosphere on race day.’

With stunning views of the castle and across the city, the run beholds breath-taking scenery, guaranteeing a decent dose of scenic inspiration!

5K option

This year there will also be a 5K option in association with This Girl Can – a one lap race, perfect for those running their first mass-participated event.

Goody bag

All entrants will receive a free goody bag, filled with quality kit and nutritional goods and finishers will receive an event t-shirt and medal for their achievements.

Running for Alzheimer’s Society

This year, our leading charity race partner is Alzheimer’s Society. Many people know someone affected by dementia. The society reveals that 850,000 people in the UK will have a form of dementia by 2015 and in less than ten years, this will grow to over a million people. Working to find a cure for this debilitating disease but also to support those living with the condition, the society relies on charity funding to make this happen and we’re absolutely thrilled to be able to help raise funds for the charity through the Series.

A range of pacers will also be there on the day, covering various times to help you to achieve your time and support you along the way. Meet the pacers here.
