Mel Bound

Founder of This Mum Mum Run’s

Mel Bound

Founder of This Mum Runs, Mel Bound was looking to get back into running, but after having difficulties finding a running club that fitted in around her and her young family, Mel decided to try and find a running buddy who she could run with. After posting a message on a mums Facebook page she had received 75 replies in 10 minutes, and had a life changing “light bulb moment”!

Two years on and with the help of her women’s only weekly classes, courses and coaching, Mel has inspired thousands of women across the country to “get their trainers on, get out the door and just give running a try.”

Julie Creffield

Founder of The Fat Girls Guide to Running

Julie Creffield was told that she was too fat to run by her GP and heckled for running, but she did not let this deter her, from keeping active and doing something she loved. Turning her negative experiences into positives, Julie created The Fat Girls Guide to Running, a community to inform, inspire and encourage women of all shapes, sizes and abilities to engage in sport and enjoy it’s benefits-it should never be a chore.

Three years on, Julie has inspired women from across the nation to run regardless of barriers saying, “If you run…you are a runner SIMPLE!”
