Statistically, 10K is the UK’s favourite race distance. The perfect test of speed and endurance, it’s a fantastic distance for those who want to improve and achieve new running goals and won’t take you months on end to train for. That said, if you’ve never ran a 10K before, this distance requires regular, carefully targeted training for at least six weeks ahead of race day. That’s why we’ve compiled a beginners six week 10K training guide to help you prepare for your first 10k race. So, if you’ve signed up to your first 10K this year and are ready to kick start your training, follow the link below, print off the guide, pop it on your kitchen fridge and get training!
