Pride month might be nearly over, but Zwift are going to be celebrating all year long with their Pride On events – and we think it's utterly brilliant

We’ve loved seeing individuals, communities and brands celebrating Pride this year, but we all know that support like this needs to happen all year – not just for one month.

So we were super impressed to hear that Zwift – the virtual running and cycling training app – have made plans to continue their Pride month events all year long.

Partnering with Athlete Ally, a movement who support equality and accessibility to sport, they’ll be holding bi-monthly events, such as live group workouts, rides and runs, celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community. The events will also commemorate landmark dates through the year, such as National Coming Out Day and World AIDS Day.

“Zwift continues to be a leader in inclusivity in sport and we are excited to partner for the third year,” says Hudson Taylor, Founder & Executive Director of Athlete Ally. “Beyond June, we’ll be working together to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community throughout the year, and to further the message of equal access, opportunity and experience in sport.”

And it doesn’t stop there; Zwift are also putting in the work within their organisation, too. “We are committed to promoting Zwift as an inclusive and welcoming environment,” says Lisa Bourne, Senior Director of Diversity, Inclusion & Social Impact at Zwift. “We’ve begun the work internally to educate our employees on important issues impacting the LGBTQIA+ community and have recently launched our first LGBTQIA+ Employee Resource Group.”
