Sports Medal Recycling: Recycle your old medals for charity!

What do you do with your old medals? If they eventually end up in your rubbish bin, then this new scheme might interest you…

Sports Medal Recycling offer just what they say on the tin – they’ll recycle any metal medals, textiles, plastic and cardboard, reducing waste whilst also supporting fundraising through sport.

Medals can be sent at any time, and their packaging will be recycled, too.

Proceeds raised from the recycling project will be given to people raising money through sport with official fundraising pages. When sending in medals, people can also be nominated to receive a donation to their fundraising page.

What a fantastic idea to support other athletes whilst striving for a more sustainable future!
