Emma Willis launches sportswear collection with Next

Read Time:   |  January 6, 2020

TV personality Emma Willis has launched her debut sportswear collection for Next just in time to provide perfect motivation for your 2020 fitness goals.

The new range is reasonably priced and focusses on the essentials, including a supportive sports bra, colourful leggings and practical swimwear all made from moisture-wicking fabrics. Sizes range from 6-22 and the collection is designed to be appropriate for all sorts of different sports, so whether you’re a runner, a boxer or a pilates whiz you’re sure to find something for you.

Emma is no stranger to fashion design, but this collaboration with Next is her first venture into sportswear, something she says she’s wanted to tackle for some time. Making her range accessible and appealing to as many women as possible was key: “It was really important to do sportswear that looked really good but was functional… and also didn’t cost the earth,” she says.

Staying fit and healthy has always been important to her, but as she gets older her focus has shifted towards maintaining strength. “I go to the gym so I can be strong and stay able as I get older. It’s not about vanity but just looking to the future and staying strong,” she confirms. Variety is key to her fitness and this is reflected in the versatility of the products, which allow gym-goers to “keep things different”.

Emma admits that her New Year’s resolution isn’t fitness-related – “It’s to get better at time-keeping and replying to messages quicker!” –  but that her workout time is time she dedicates to herself. “Finding time for yourself every week is so important. Normally, other things that take up my week are for my family, so I do recommend having some time during your week which is just something for yourself,” she says.

You can see Emma’s full sportswear collection here. All items are easy to mix and match, with prices ranging from £16 to £38.
