The following is a letter from our editor about the impact of coronavirus
Hello lovely runner
We’re here for you. These are uncertain times, and we’ve all been having a bit of a wobble over here at Women’s Running, but here’s the thing: we are stronger together. We know that many of you will be disappointed at cancelled races and running groups, and are perhaps anxious about those constantly updating news feeds – we certainly are on all counts.
So we wanted to get in touch to say two things: firstly, go for a run. You don’t need a group or a race to go for a run. And the sooner you do it, the better you’ll feel. Encourage your family and friends to do the same.
Secondly, we want to be here for you as we always are. I know it might be tricky to get out there and buy your copy from the shops, but you don’t need to worry on that score. Did you know you can subscribe to Women’s Running digitally? You can receive your monthly Women’s Running fix straight to your phone, tablet or laptop to read whenever you want, wherever you want. It’s quick, it’s easy, it’s cheaper than getting the print version, you can pay monthly, and you can cancel at any time.
Our connection with you, our wonderful tribe of runners, is the most important thing in our world. Join us via the magazine, our website, Facebook or Instagram. And if you haven’t signed up to The Edit, our weekly newsletter, do that here. And email me!
And lastly, please enjoy this one on us: here’s a lovely FREE workout guide to help you keep strong and healthy at home.
Stay safe and well, and happy running.
