Dementia affects 850,000 people in the UK, with numbers forecast to increase to over one million by 2025. Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading support and research charity for people with dementia, their families and carers, and we are proud to be supporting Alzheimer’s Society as our headline charity partner for our WR10K Race Series this year. Alzheimer’s Society funds research into the cure, cause and care for dementia and we are thrilled so many of you have chosen to run for Alzheimer’s Society in our races this year. To help you understand a little bit more about how your money can support Alzheimer’s Society in its goal to find “better care for today and ultimately a cure for tomorrow”, Alzheimer’s Society has put together this short video.

If you want to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society, we still have three WR10K races left! Sign up here.
