My signature running style consists of black cropped running tights or shorts On race days it has to be my Adidas multi colour printed running tights and pink top. On a really hot day I wear my Gore Visor.
What do I think about when I run? I’m usually doing a to do list in my head or focusing on an up-and-coming race and thinking about how I’ll feel afterwards. If I’m really struggling I’ll think back to when I got married in Mexico and that passes the time.
Running top tip? Is do the best that you can do. Don’t compare yourself to anyone else. Just be the best possible you. Run your own race.
My running mantra is: When your legs can’t run anymore. Run with your heart.
The best inspirational quote I have heard is: There will be days when I don’t know if I can run a marathon. There will be a lifetime knowing that I have.
My post run treat is a PhD Woman support and recovery bar Or a glass of prosecco to celebrate after a race.
My sporting heroine is Chrissie Wellington She has been through hell in her life but she’s come through to win the hardest race on the planet four times.
I love a running challenge My favourite running route has to be the hilly run from Beckenham to Dulwich.
Hills are speed work in disguise They make you stronger, faster and more efficient. I may not seem like it at the time but they really do work.
