Myvegan, the UK's number one online vegan nutrition brand, share their top products with us

Top vegan nutrition brand Myvegan are pledging to tackle environmental and sustainability issues this September, and it got us thinking about the origin of our supplements. We want to know that we’re investing in nutritional products that aren’t just beneficial for our bodies, but for the planet, too. So, we spoke to Myvegan about what they’re doing to ensure that their supplements are as plastic neutral as possible.

They’re partnering with recycling enterprise rePurpose Global to become the world’s first plastic-neutral sports nutrition company. By becoming plastic neutral, Myvegan will support rePurpose Global to remove and recycle as much ocean-bound plastic waste as the product packaging uses.

This seems like a good place to start, so here are our top five Myvegan products to give your running a boost without damaging the environment…

1. Omega Softgels £21.99
The body needs omega-3 essential fatty acids, but there aren’t many vegan-friendly sources out there. That’s where Vegan Omega comes in, packed with Omega-3 fatty acids sourced from plant algae. The bottle (not lid) is also 100% recyclable.

2. All-Natural Peanut Butter £11.99
We can’t get enough of peanut butter, and this 100% organic, palm oil free natural All-Natural Peanut Butter is the perfect addition to your plant-based diet. Tub (not label) also completely recyclable.

3. Vegan Gooey Filled Cookies £24.99
Now, here’s a treat for you. These irresistible peanut butter Gooey Filled Cookies are the Myvegan dairy-free alternative. The plastic-neutral packed cookie offers a strong 15g of protein per serving whilst making your taste buds incredibly happy.

4. Pea Protein Isolate £14.99
Peas require minimal land and water to produce, ranking them up there for renewability and sustainability alongside soy. For those looking for an alternative to soy, the Pea Protein Isolate harnesses the complete protein found in peas to create a smooth-mixing powder, packing 23g of plant-powered protein per serving.

5. Clear Vegan Protein, Apple & Elderflower £24.99
The most recent, mouth-watering flavour in the world’s first Clear Vegan Protein selection. The range has been developed using hydrolysed pea protein to create a light, juicy protein drink made using real fruits for a truly refreshing taste with 100% recyclable packing.
