This might be the best vegan french toast recipe ever - you heard it from us first!

We love a vegan recipe that’s full of nutritional value for runners – especially when chocolate is involved!

The lovely people over at Naturya shared this vegan chocolate & berry french toast recipe with us.

It’s incredibly quick and simple to make, comforting and rich, and a great source of fibre.

Serves: 2-3

Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

Method

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the plant-based milk, the Naturya Chia+ Chocolate, the coconut sugar, the cinnamon and the salt.
  2. Dip the bread in the mix and wipe off any excess.
  3. Add the oil to a non-stick frying pan and gently fry each slice of bread on both sides until crisp.
  4. Stack the bread slices with the cacao & hazelnut spread in-between slices and garnish with fresh berries.
