US company SoulCycle have opened their second UK studio in Notting Hill, where runners who want to work different muscle groups as part of their cross-training can book a bike and enjoy an indoor cycling class.
SoulCycle is a hugely popular brand in North America and Canada, with 90 studios across the two countries, and self-proclaimed fans that include Beyoncé, Michelle Obama, Victoria Beckham and Madonna. The fitness company launched its first international studio in Soho earlier this year and it’s already causing a stir.
The Notting Hill venue features a 65-bike studio as well as a store stocked with SoulCycle’s apparel line, Soul by SoulCycle. Gym-goers need not go hungry, as there are also Good Life Eatery goodies on hand to refuel.
Fitness fans will be encouraged to bring their own bottles or hire reusable bottles from the studio to cut down on plastic waste. The brand will also be supporting children’s mental health charity Place2B, as well as hosting events to bring new mothers together, making it clear that concern for the community will be at the centre of their ethos.
