Sports bra brand MAAREE has teamed up with CoppaFeel! to release a new bra, with 50% of profits going to the breast cancer awareness charity
The new limited edition Empower Sports Bra, available now, will feature a gorgeous graphic boob print and will retail at £49 in sixes XS-XL. 50% of the proceeds will be going to breast cancer charity CoppaFeel!, who help to educate women on detecting abnormalities in their breasts.
Mari Thomas founded MAAREE in 2018 after working as a sports bra tester at Loughborough University. Her aim was to create new sports bra technology that provided real support for women and she’s done just that: her Overband® range, which limits upward movement like no other bra on the market, sold out completely in spring 2020.
This time, Mari’s teamed up with CoppaFeel! to promote breast health, prevent late diagnosis and support women living with breast cancer through sales of their beautiful limited-edition sports bra design.
CoppaFeel! was co-founded by Kris Hallenga and her twin sister Maren in 2009. Kris was diagnosed with breast cancer aged just 23 and was shocked discover that young people could be affected, too. She’s since made it her mission to educate and remind women of all ages to check their boobs regularly. You can read more about Kris’ story here.
Along with collaborating on a new-look sports bra, Mari will be supporting CoppaFeel! by taking on the Come Fly With Gi challenge, a five-day trek through Morocco led by author, podcaster and charity ambassador Giovanna Fletcher. Find out more about this here.
