Everything we're wearing this month for wintry running weather...

February is here, and we’re taking our training to the next level. We’re feeling positive and looking forward to our fast-approaching races – and this gorgeous, cosy gear has certainly helped. Wrap up warm, stay visible and look fab with our top picks…

Beats fit pro headphones winter running gear february

BEATS Fit Pro True Wireless earbuds £199.99

We’re big fans of these innovative new earbuds: the wing tip design is brilliant. Most earbuds will offer different sizes, but what we’ve found is that wing tips can fall off, and selecting the size is a little cumbersome. These babies can fit a wide range of ear sizes comfortably: just rotate the wing tip for a stable fit. They’re also noise-cancelling, which is great news if you like total surround sound, but worth noting for road runners.

Zaazee Ava top women's winter running gear February

ZAAZEE Ava Long Sleeved Top £42

This is Holly’s top pick this month: a gorgeous new release from the brilliant team at Zaazee. We love the coverage that this length offers, and the scooped hem is very flattering. You can tell it was designed with runners in mind, with cosy thumbholes and a sweat-wicking fabric that keeps you warm without clinging too much. It’s also made from sustainable materials right here in the UK, which is a big plus, and you can choose two lovely colours for £70 and save yourself some dosh.

Available in sizes 8-16

Lucy Locket Loves leggings winter women's running gear February

LUCY LOCKET LOVES Wildflower Active Leggings £33

Lucy Locket Loves has become synonymous with daring prints and bright colours, but that’s not all that these leggings boast. They’re incredibly soft, squat-proof and moisture-wicking: perfect for running, gym sessions, yoga, the weekly shop, binge-watching Netflix – the list goes on. They’re also really affordable, long-lasting and size inclusive: an all-round winner.

Available in sizes 6-26

BAM bamboo socks women's winter running gear february

BAM Bamboo Trainer Socks 4 pack £16.50

Running socks can be expensive, but this pack from BAM is just what we’ve been looking for: four gorgeous pairs that we can rotate for under £20. As always with BAM, these are cleverly made from bamboo – and it’s worth noting that they don’t need any special care or attention, and can go in with your standard washing load. The reinforced toe and heel are an excellent bonus, and the arch support and shock absorbing footbed are essential for a great pair of run socks.

True Motion U-Tech Aion women's winter running gear february

TRUE MOTION U-Tech Aion running shoes | £150

Esther’s been wearing these since Christmas and she’s completely obsessed. Not only do they look stunning, but they feel like running on clouds. From German brand True Motion, they’re super innovative and feature the latest biomechanics insights in the design. A clever, comfy and responsive shoe, and definitely a brand to watch.

Oofos flip flops winter women's running gear February

OOFOS OOlala Leopard Sandal £60

This exclusive OOFOS design is limited edition and makes a striking addition to any running wardrobe. We’ve become total converts to the idea of a recovery shoe in the last couple of years, and OOFOS really is the best of the best. Pop these on after your long runs to help ease muscle stress and absorb extra impact: it’ll change the game, we promise.

freetrain lights women's winter running gear february

FREETRAIN Rechargeable LED Running Lights £19.99

These super light and rechargeable LED lights will help you increase your visibility while running in the dark – motorists should be able to see you from up to 1/2 a mile away. You can clip them on to almost anything, but it’s worth taking a look at the FreeTrain vest while you’re shopping. Stay safe out there!

Decathlon yoga mat women's winter running gear february

DECATHLON Nyamba Comfort Fitness Yoga Mat £24.99

Esther has been dutifully attending weekly yoga sessions for the last few months, and it’s been making a huge difference to her running. We should all be taking a leaf out of her book, but if you have no idea how to start then get yourself one of these and stick a YouTube video on!
