There’s nothing like the sound of crunchy leaves beneath your running shoes – get out there and enjoy some autumn running with our favourite new gear. These clothes and shoes will last you all season, and are comfy, stylish and practical from top to bottom. Happy running!
NEW BALANCE Impact Running Visor | £15
This comfortable unisex visor is easily adjustable, with a rear clip to secure the fit. It’ll keep the sun out of your eyes during daytime or sunset runs, but it’ll also keep you safe while running at night thanks to the reflective detailing. It’s simple, useful and great value – an autumn staple.
SHOWERS PASS Women’s Cloudburst Jacket | £149
I was sent this to test out last month, and I’m completely in love: it’s perfect for unreliable September weather. First off, the colour and fit deserve a mention – it looks and feels so gorgeous you won’t want to take it off. On the more tech-y side of things, it’s designed to keep you ventilated while protecting you from the elements, using breathable and moisture-wicking eliteAIR™ fabric, and it boasts an industry-leading Moisture Vapor Transmission Rate. A total game-changer.
Available in sizes S-XL
SWEATY BETTY Pacesetter Running Vest | £45
This vest has a great length to it, so you can be confident in its coverage. The real star of the show, though, is how lightweight it is: it’s super breathable, keeps you dry and feels wonderfully airy. You’ll find yourself reaching for it on warmer days, as well as using it to layer up as the days draw in.
Available in sizes XXS-XXL
SHOCK ABSORBER Ultimate Run Bra | £46
If you’re looking for a high-impact bra, then here’s your answer – this Shock Absorber goes so far as to label itself ‘extreme’ impact. It’s soft and seamless, so you don’t have to worry about chafing, and the adjustable straps stay firmly in place as you run. It’s specifically designed to support your boobs while you run, and it does so brilliantly.
Available in sizes 30A-38G
NEW BALANCE London Edition Impact Run Tights | £55
New Balance’s London Marathon collection has some gems, but these tights are a firm favourite. They’re simple and sleek, with great sweat-wicking tech, and have multiple pockets to store your running essentials. They’re also made from 77% recycled polyester.
Available in sizes XS-XL
MONKEY SOX Ultra X1 Sports Socks | £16
If you don’t know about Monkey Sox yet then you’re missing out. They’re a brilliant company who donate 50% of profits to three multiple sclerosis charities, and their socks are ace. The Ultra X1 socks are best-sellers, with a breathable mesh upper and added cushioning for a comfortable run.
Available in sizes UK 4-11.5
HOKA ONE ONE Rincon 3 shoes | £105
These beauties were another delivery I was excited to receive this month. The classic Rincon has had an upgrade, delivering the best cushion to weight ratio on the market, weighing even less than its predecessor. They’ve been a total joy to run in, and feel like floating on clouds.
EXOGUN DreamPro massage gun | £122.32
This is some heavy duty recovery tech, with a powerful motor and four separate attachments to help you hit the right spot. It’s perfect for relieving aches and pains, stops DOMS in its tracks, and also increases your blood circulation. I wouldn’t be without it during a tough training season, and the one month battery life means it’s pretty much always ready to go.
