Cancer Research UK has launched a brand new range of high quality sportswear, with 100% of all profits going to the charity. The new range comprises quality apparel at an affordable price, while providing fitness enthusiasts with a new way to support the charity.
The new women’s range comprises Black Running Shorts (£20), Stripey Black Vest (£13), Pink Microfleece (£20), and Blue T-Shirt (£15). Here’s what our digital writer, Jenny Bozon, thought of the new range.
Women’s Black Running Shorts
What I loved about these shorts was their high-waisted fit. Pulling you in, in all of the right places, these shorts offer a flattering look and are extremely comfortable to run in.
Women’s Stripey Black Vest
The Stripey Vest was my favourite garment. Only £13, this vest offers the same quality as the sports vests offered by some of the leading brands on the market at a much more affordable price. The TACTILE™ sports performance fabric and high fibre 100% polyester yarn is extremely breathable and offers great moisture management. What’s more, it offers a comfortable and stylish fit and the design is pretty quirky too.
Women’s Blue T-Shirt with Pink Stripes
While this t-shirt is uber-comfortable and is sure to keep you nice and cool on a hot day, I found the fit a little unflattering. The crew neck is a little on the wide side and the t-shirt is definitely felt over-sized. Then again, if a “boyfriend fit” is what you’re after and you like your running kit loose, it might be for you!
Women’s Pink Microfleece
I wrapped up in this fleece ahead of my Saturday morning parkrun and it definitely did the job! Super warm and cosy, it’s ideal to slip on before a race, or if out supporting friends. Plus, it washes great too and still retains its super-soft feel.
This kit is available to buy from www.cruk.org/shop. If you fancy getting your hands on the Microfleece, Vest and Shorts, we’re giving one lucky winner the chance to win all three garments! Enter out competition below to be in with the chance of winning.
