As you cross the finish line what better way to recover than with an ice lolly! All runners will also receive a technical t-shirt, medal and goodie bag. Both the half marathon and 5K races will be chipped timed and professional photographs will be available to purchase after the event.

All profits made from the event are donated back to local charities and voluntary organisations. Runners are welcome to fundraise for the charity of their choice. So why not set yourself the challenge and invite friends and family to sponsor you, and support a charity close to your heart.

St Albans Half Marathon had a record breaking year in 2014, with over 6,000 people taking part. The event brought the community together and, with thanks to everybody’s support, the event raised £37,600 which was shared out to over 47 local charities and organisations. This year the main benefitting charities will be Headway Hertfordshire and Renaissance: St Albans.
