Danske Bank Vilnius Marathon is calling all runners to visit Vilnius, Lithuania. One of the most frequently visited cities of Eastern Europe, Vilnius draws attention because of its unique architectural character and huge old town, which is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. And the best news? The Vilnius Marathon course runs through it. Run the marathon for your chance to see all the beauty of Vilnius, including its many churches, historical buildings, squares and four bridges. The course will also go through Vingis Park – one of the biggest city parks in Europe.

As the fastest-growing race in the Baltics, the number of participants in Vilnius Marathon has doubled twice in last two years. Last year saw the tenth anniversary of the marathon, which turned into a huge festival of running lovers from across Lithuania and beyond. Now event organisers are looking forward to Danske Bank Vilnius Marathon 2014, making it bigger, friendlier and more fantastic for both runners and spectators alike. On September 14 2014, Vilnius is the best place to be for marathon lovers.
