Human Race Events – Black Friday deal – 20% off all races

Human Race Events, the UK’s largest mass-participation events company, is rebranding Black Friday “Finish Line Friday”, offering 20% off all of its events, including the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run, the Lidl Kingston Breakfast Run and Shock Absorber WomenOnly Triathlon. The discount will be exclusively available on humanrace.co.uk from 00:01 until 23:59 on Friday 27 November.

Windsor Half Marathon – Entries open

Entries for the 2016 Windsor Half Marathon, taking place Sunday 25 September, are now open. The event attracts 6,000 runners from near and far each year and is now in its 34th edition. The race is set in a stunning location, offering gorgeous views of Windsor Castle and Windsor Great Park, on a traffic-free route. A sell-out race, it is worth signing up soon to secure your place. Kielder Marathon events – Entries now open

The Kielder Marathon weekend of races, taking place Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 October, is now open for entry. Participants can choose from a 10K, Run-Bike-Run event, marathon, half-marathon and junior run over the course of the weekend. Demand for places on the Kielder Marathon events has increased year on year and the 2015 races sold out, despite the addition of a half-marathon. To secure your place visit: www.kieldermarathon.com.

The first Osterley Park 10K sold out – 5 charity places left

If you want to take part in the first Osterley Park 10K on 12 December, it’s worth requesting a charity place very soon. The Osterley Park 10K is the official race of Alice’s Youth Music Memorial fund, established in memory of Alice Gross, the teenager from Hanwell who was brutally murdered in August 2014. The fund supports Youth Music, the national charity which provides life-changing music-making opportunities for young people, facing significant challenges in their lives such as disability or poverty. To run and raise funds for the charity email the organisers at [email protected] requesting a “Donate for a place” spot.

WR10K Race Series – new event location confirmed

Today, we have confirmed the opening of a brand new WR10K event for 2016. The event will take place at Riverside Valley Park, Exeter, Devon on 26 June. This gorgeous park stretches for miles through the city, boasting lush green scenery.
