There’s a lot to love about the Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend.

The six amazing races. The 200,000 cheering spectators. The electric atmosphere of the starting line…

Those are just a few of the reasons why so many people call it Canada’s biggest running party.

Organized by runners for runners, the weekend includes a 2K, 5K, half-marathon, kids marathon, as well as two IAAF Gold-Label races: the Scotiabank Ottawa Marathon and the Ottawa 10K.

The courses are flat and fast, offering an excellent chance to set a new personal best while still being able to enjoy the sights and landmarks along the routes.

With springtime temperatures that average a perfect 16c, it’s also easy to relax post-race at the finishing area with live music, a beer garden and Canada’s biggest running expo.

Outside the weekend running festivities, Ottawa offers a small-town feel with big-city attractions, including many of Canada’s best museums and galleries, as well as top-notch shopping and dining. For an extended trip in North America, Ottawa is centrally located, allowing for easy travel to Montreal, Toronto, New York and Boston.

Come find something to love at the Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend on 28-29 May 2016, register here today.
