runbritain has officially set the clock ticking on its 2015 Reward Running Competition, #clickyourclock, gaining its first entry on Friday afternoon.
The competition, which gives those who take part in runbritain licensed events and parkruns the opportunity to win a Polar FT4 heart rate monitor by simply monitoring their performance progress online via the runbritian rankings website (www.runbritainrankings.com), was entered by Richard Cooper. After running the On the Green Series in Glasgow, Richard, who has a handicap of 1.7, ran a personal best in this 3k event.
Using a runner’s race results to calculate their percentage improvement, runbritain assigns each runner a ‘handicap’ score.
This week’s leaderboard (25 February – 3 March) is being constantly updated as the results of each run are uploaded at www.runbritainrankings.com. The current leader of this competition, who has already clicked to find out their percentage improvement, may have a Polar FT4 heart rate monitor winging its way to their address if their name stays at the top of the leaderboard.
To enter, all entrants need to do is ‘click their clock’! For more information about this new handicap campaign visit: bit.ly/1ASrDP9
