The MBNA Chester Marathon on Sunday 2 October follows a race route that incorporates a city with over 2,000 years of history, stunning countryside and chocolate box villages this race has everything the discerning marathon runner could wish for.

Add to this an enviable reputation for impeccable organisation, hosted by runners, for runners, and a friendly atmosphere with many personalised touches this is a race you really should not miss.

With a traditional marathon, metric marathon (26.2 km) and a one mile family mini marathon there is something for everyone.  If you need even more to convince you to enter, with seven miles in Wales we are the UK’s only international marathon.
