One of the most frequently visited cities of Eastern Europe, Vilnius’ popularity is down to its unique architectural character and huge old town, which is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The Vilnius Marathon course runs right through the heart of the city. Run the marathon and you’ll see all the beauty of Vilnius, including its many churches, historical buildings, squares and four bridges.

Every year the Danske Bank Vilnius Marathon turns into a huge festival as running lovers from across Lithuania and beyond descend on the city for the event. Danske Bank Vilnius Marathon the fastest-growing race in the Baltics, and the number of participants in the Vilnius Marathon is growing steadily.

Runner can choose from the full and half marathon, and there are also options to run a 10K and 4.2K on the same day.

On 11 September 2016, Vilnius is the best place to be for a runner. The Danske Bank Vilnius Marathon promises to be a bigger, friendlier and more fantastic than in previous years for both runners and spectators alike.
