The Plan B challenge is back with Act 2: get ready to run
Following the success of Find A Race’s first Plan B challenge in April, which raised more than £25,000 for the World Health Organisation, Plan B: Act 2 is now open for runners to compete or collaborate.
Participants will have the chance to take on a range of distance goals as part of a team challenge, a solo challenge or a head-to-head battle. Challenge your family and friends to a virtual race, or team up with them to complete a distance: it’s up to you.
Competitive runners can choose to run a 5K, 10K or half marathon in the quickest time, or try and rack up the most kilometres and boast an impressive run streak. And it doesn’t have to be a race: solo runners can tackle the same distance to raise money for the W.H.O.
The collaborative events encourage running teams to take on various distances together, from 100km to 1000km. There are also races specifically for children and younger runners, so the whole family can get involved.
Racers will have 30 days to complete their challenge, and 25% of the profits will go towards finding a COVID-19 vaccine so we can all run together again soon. Plus, once you’ve sent in evidence that you’ve completed your challenge, you’ll get a shiny new medal.
