One Running Movement's #MoveForLife campaign includes free PE classes to keep children exercising and entertained

As the lockdown period continues, parents are naturally feeling the pressure to get their children back into school mode. And while we want to remind you that you should only do what you feel capable of right now, we also completely understand the concern that the longer our children are away from school, the harder it will be for them to adjust when they return to normal life.

To help you manage the difficult balance of work and play, One Running Movement have launched free virtual PE classes.

Qualified teacher and Primary PE Consultant Matt Upston has developed a 12-week programme aimed at Key Stage 1 children (ages 3-7), providing curriculum-based lessons that you can stream at home.

The videos are great for keeping young children on track with their mobility skills, are completely free and can be done as a whole family activity. Content will be released every Monday, Wednesday and Friday with a new theme each week.

This week’s theme is Pirates & The Sea – you can find the first lesson here.
